𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝙁𝘼𝙎𝙏. Despite many pharmaceutical companies’ efforts to eradicate healthcare inequity in the US, it’s still around. Big time. Now it’s Genentech’s turn to intervene, asking patients of color to give voice to the tough questions about why doctors don’t believe them, why they don’t have access to cutting edge therapies, etc. Let’s hope for, no work for, real progress on this front in the year to come.
