𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝙁𝘼𝙎𝙏. Good grief! It’s Amazon knocking on the door of healthcare again. This time, with a permutation of its “Prime” delivery service, which will deliver generic drugs to enrolled patients for $5 per month. As described in this piece, this move is sure to have “reverberations” throughout the pharmacy sector, and likely more generally through healthcare.
This is not Amazon’s first move in healthcare by any means. And they have been far from secretive about their acquisitions and startups, not all of which have been successful.
