Amazon debuts RxPass, a $5-per-month prescription drug delivery service

๐—ง๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ธ๐™๐˜ผ๐™Ž๐™. Good grief! Itโ€™s Amazon knocking on the door of healthcare again. This time, with a permutation of its โ€œPrimeโ€ delivery service, which will deliver generic drugs to enrolled patients for $5 per month. As described in this piece, this move is sure to have โ€œreverberationsโ€ throughout the pharmacy sector, and likely more generally through healthcare.

This is not Amazonโ€™s first move in healthcare by any means. And they have been far from secretive about their acquisitions and startups, not all of which have been successful.
