𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝙁𝘼𝙎𝙏. We have written time and time again about physician burnout. 25% of HCPs considering career changes as a result, etc. BUT. It is arguably time to stop reporting on this and start doing something about it. But what? A recent Bain survey offered: “The message from clinicians is clear: better compensation, support to deliver high-quality patient care, a more manageable workload, flexible work arrangements, and more clinically focused job responsibilities.” Obviously, making any, let alone all, of these changes will be a challenge for health care systems and other employers.
